Acoustic Banners are a cost-effective solution for modifying the sound absorption characteristics of any hall. They are used in performance venues, public spaces, conference rooms, etc. as variable acoustic systems that allow reaching the desired reverberation conditions for every type of event or application.
Chemtrol’s line of Motorized Acoustic Banners offers all advantages of this type of systems under a concept design of simplicity and reliability, based on years of experience as manufacturer of sophisticated stage machinery products. It uses one or two fabric layers rolling vertically in and out of an enclosure containing all driving and control elements.
Construction:
• Aluminum frame with direct access to the motor for service.
• Geared servomotor with absolute encoder positioning and brake.
• Seamless, single or dual 550 g/m2 DFR wool serge fabric in standard or special colors.

Controls:
• Local or centralized control options.
• 5.7” touch screen control panel with presets, monitoring, visualization, etc.

Testing data:
Fabric fire resistance: Class 1 in accordance to EN 13772:2011. Textiles and textile products. Burning behavior. Curtains and drapes. Measurement of flame spread of vertically oriented specimens with large ignition source. Fulfills the requirements of EN 13772:2011 and EN 1101:1996 standards.
Fabric acoustic performance: Tested in accordance to EN ISO 354:2004. Acoustics - Measurement of sound absorption in a reverberation room (ISO 354:2003).
